Dr. Alissia Valentinis earned her medical degree from the University of Ottawa, completed her residency at the University of Toronto and has been a primary care physician for over 20 years. She currently works at Taddle Creek Family Health Team in Toronto, ON where she cares for patients of all ages from newborn to the elderly. She has a special interest in women’s health and mental health. In addition, she is the senior medical director for TELUS Health MyCare which helps patients see physicians through a virtual platform.
Dr. Valentinis is passionate about helping all patients access quality primary care and through the MyCare app patients from anywhere in Ontario, BC, or AB can speak to a physician with no cost to the patient as the care is provincially covered. She also teaches medical students from the University of Toronto hoping to foster in them a love of family medicine. She is married with 2 children and enjoys traveling, reading and weight training.
