Katie is a multi-skilled leader with extensive experience guiding large-scale health systems initiatives. She is responsible for our people and culture strategy and leads the Human Resources team supporting team members in our long-term care homes, home health care, and head office teams. In addition, Katie is responsible for directing Extendicare’s enterprise integration and transformation initiatives. Katie was previously the Vice President, Information Technology for Extendicare, where she led IT strategy and operations for the organization.

Prior to joining Extendicare, Katie was a Principal at TELUS Health leading large-scale health system integration projects. Katie also spent several years in healthcare consulting in Canada, the United States, and the Bahamas. She has a BSc. in Health Information Science from the University of Victoria and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Colette Lepine

Colette Lepine is the National Public Sector Leader for Workday Canada. After starting her career at the University of Ottawa in computing and communications, Colette has spent 25+ years serving the Public Sector in both sales and leadership roles with companies such as Corel, D2L, Pearson, Ellucian and BMO. Colette joined Workday in 2014 and has a passion for all things related to public service and sees her role at Workday as a change agent for healthcare in Canada.

As a daughter and sister to two nurses, Colette sees Healthcare as a fundamental part of her identity and her desire to enable “More time for Care”. Colette’s team has opened new and significant markets for Workday Canada, and Healthcare is a part of her mandate and she and her team see immense opportunity to re-imagine a landscape where the employee is at the center of all healthcare settings, enabled by Workday’s Global innovative platforms in HR, Finance, Supply Chain and WF Planning. Colette is passionate about Women’s role in Leadership and in Technology, and has hosted several webinars focused on women’s empowerment in the workplace. 

She lives in Lake country in Val des Monts just outside Ottawa -with her 2-year-old Sheepadoodle puppy where she kayaks whenever she is at home.
