Adam Ly, OT Reg. (Ont.) is a Registered Occupational Therapist practicing in London, Ontario, Canada at CBI Health Group. With over 8 years of clinical experience in an outpatient and community setting, he specializes in helping adults who experience mild-moderate cognitive impairments and mental health difficulties due to various conditions within a return-to-work context. These can include mild traumatic brain injury, mood disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), Long-Term Disability (LTD), and Auto insurance programs. He also specializes in physician health. Additionally, he conducts physical and cognitive functional ability evaluations, disability assessments, job demands analyses, and job coaching.
He is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Toronto in the Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy department, seasonal lecturer and clinical preceptor at Western University, a workshop instructor through the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT), and a trainer and mentor at CBI Health. He has been published in Occupational Therapy Now, Attention Magazine, the Canadian Journal of Physician Leadership, and The Toronto Star. Internationally, he is a conference speaker and workshop instructor.
He has completed coursework and under supervision at The Beck Institute in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, the Multi-Context approach by Dr. Joan Toglia, and the Oshawa Psychotherapy Training Institute.
